3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 yesyouam (1016) - Fairport, New York, USA - MAR 27, 2012Samuel Adams Whitewater IPA is a very cloudy sparkling golden ale. The dense, white foam has great retention and lacing. It has a bright citrus aroma with orange and pine. It’s medium bodied and a little starchy throughout. The finish is dry. It’s not as hoppy as the aroma led me to believe, but suitably bitter. There are flavors of orange, pine and wheat with a hint of apricot and pine resin at the finish. It’s really solid and the flavors pull together really well.

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a murky, bubbly gold with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Decent lacing. Nice aroma, it’s fruity and hoppy along with wheat, light spices and some vegetal notes. Flavour is also pleasant, it’s hoppier then I expected and fruity, along with wheat and very light spices. Moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. Nothing amazing but I enjoyed this, it’s easy to drink and enjoyable.

Bottle, hazy light orange body topped by a thick white head. Juicy hops run the show here, sweet citrus mostly, like tangerine. Nice spiciness too. This I a great white IPA, but more assertively leaning toward IPA for sure.

I had this at Global Brew. This is nasty, apricots don't taste good in beer. I wouldn't drink this again.

fromt he hop tour siz pack. a style that has popped up a lot recent years. Was more on the ipa side than the wheat side. Hazzy orange. Piney hop pushes at the top of aroma with some decent wheat refreshigness int he taste and body.

355 ml bottle from a publix in Kissimmee Florida. Pours hazed deep yellow with a white head. Nice combo of wheat ale, spices and hops. The yeast is fairly neutral and the hopping is most late addition. The wheat and lack of crystal make the body light, the finish is long and dry. Nice beer. FLVC2 #10

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 fidemaster (216) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Smells good. looks watery. The combination of Orange peel, coriander, and apricots, does not work very well. It has a harsh bitter finish which I did not find that pleasant.

Wonderful citrus and pine aroma. Has a strong pine hop taste. Lite colored wheat style beer and very refreshing for a hop forward beer.
