COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA. A wheat ale brewed with apricots & spices.
This hazy brew combines the crisp character of a white ale with the intense pine and citrus flavors of an India Pale Ale. We took the unique combination to a new level with the sublet addition of apricots, which provide a slight sweetness to balance the bitterness of the hops. Cheers!

Pours a hazed golden color with a sudsy nice white head. Lemon-citus aroma. Well balanced citrusy, earthy hop character with an extremely soft texture. Well above the majority of SA beers and without that overwhelmingly characteristic malt backbone. Well done!

Hazy gold with white head and lace. Aroma of hopes and pine. Nice bitterness, medium body with a little citrus in the finish. Good one.

bottle. Golden with small head. Fairly mild as an IPA goes. Hops are crisp with a light bitterness. Would be a good beer to introduce someone to the style, but it’s not going to blow away any hopheads.

Poured from a bottle. Clear fizzy yellow color, small white head. Citrus and floral hops aroma. Slightly oily hops flavor with a medium bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer buddy

Excellent aroma of dried fruit, apricots and hops. Cloudy caramel colour. A refreshing crisp taste of hops and apricots. Mildly bitter palate.

12oz bottle. The lable is a little misleading. I got almost no apricot flavor and only a hint of spices before a heavy hop bomb. Not one I would probably have again.

Samuel Adams Whitewater IPA brews a delightful specimen from their Hopology series. Fresh floral aromas rise from a hazy orange pour with a decent orangish head. The aroma is pleasant but not real prominent. Taste is a nice mix of fruit and floral notes with tinge of pine that doesn’t hang around too long. The finish is dry and reminiscent of spring water. Whitewater IPA exceeds expectations and is worthy competitor.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour with a thin tan head. Pine and citrus hops in the aroma and taste. Nice down-the-middle IPA.
