A brownish red pour with small off-white head. It has a bready malt and wheat aroma. The medium body has a spicy wheat flavor, smooth mouthfeel, and nice malty finish.

POurs amber. Nose is weak. Hintds of yeast and bread, biscuity. Flavor is a crisp malt, toasty grain, wheat, some bread and yeast. Super clean.

Bottle. Poured reddish-brown in color with a big frothy light brown head that had excellent lacing. The aroma was of lightly toasted grainy malts, cloves, ginger and mild resin like hops with a medicine like odor. It taste bitter-sweet with an acidic finish that stayed with you a while. Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Overall an decent brew.

I’m not a big lager fan, but I love what Sam Adams does with lagers. They adjust the grain bill, they spice it, they manage to make it so that it’s NOT LIKE EVERY OTHER LAGER IN THE WORLD. This pours a nice dark cranberry color with a creamy head that holds on. Mouth feel is nice with a full body and soft carbonation. Good lager. Definitely something different.

Pours a dark amber with a malty sweet nose. Some spice in their, but it’s masked. Sweet and smooth, the name fits. A tasty winter seasonal that makes me think of a nice wood fire.

This is a dark, copper lager. The flavor is sweet with a hint of spice. The aroma is sweet as well.

Darker amber color with a thick head. Aroma consists of malts, wheat, and a little nutmeg. Taste is mainly the same. It’s a little sweeter than I expected. Has a sweetish nutmeg aftertaste. One of their better seasonal styles.
