Feb 8, 2009 12 oz bottle; very sweet from the aroma to the flavor. Knew it was a weizenbock the second I smelled it as I was pouring into a glass. The malted wheat is almost overwhelming. Unfortunately, the finish is a bit watery... or maybe that’s because I drank the cream stout before this...

Feb 8, 2009 On draft at a bowling alley tonight. Dark copper color with thin off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, and spices. Taste of roasted malt, slight hops, and toffee. Moderately carbonated and smooth. Pretty good for what’s basically a macro!

Feb 7, 2009 Pretty nice beer here. Toffeeish flavor, and the wheat adds an interesting tang to it. Didn’t have much carbonation to it, though.

Feb 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep copper with a nice two finger off-white head. Not much for aroma just some spiciness. Slightly bitter taste. Flavorful and malty. Medium and creamy body. Very smooth and very drinkable although this is my least favorite Sam Seasonal.
