Reddish amber pour with a light brown head. Spiced apple yeasty aroma with a touch of chocolate and spices. Light to medium bodied. Taste is of spices, a touch of caramel and toffee and a hint of dark fruit (cherries?) with a woody bitter finish. A pleasant beer, just a bit dull.

Bottle. Pours an off white head that receded quickly and a caramel colored body. Notes of malts and caramel, and the taste was caramel, burnt malts, and almost a coffee flavor on the back end. Fizzy and bubbly mouhtfeel.

Location: One of those bears you can get anywhere...

Aroma: Spicy, roasted malts
Appearance: Golden-like amber, mostly clear
Flavor: Highly malted, spice
Palate: Light body, smooth finish
Overall Impression: A nice solid winter lager, one of those go to beers in the winter when there aren’t many choices on the menu.

Pours light amber, has a good variety of spices. More bitter and fizzy than the Goose Island winter brew. Tastes great

On tap in a Mexican restaurant in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Medium brown in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of toffee apples, yeast and spice. Sweetish flavour with more spice and a short bitter finish. Ok.
