Cavie (1318), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Feb 6, 2009 Very flavorful; great winter beer. I love the cinnamon and other spices they use to flavor this beer. Nimrod979 (11), Hagerstown, Maryland, USA Feb 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep copper with a nice two finger off-white head. Not much for aroma just some spiciness. Slightly bitter taste. Flavorful and malty. Medium and creamy body. Very smooth and very drinkable although this is my least favorite Sam Seasonal. arventresca (334), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Feb 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours brownish with a very spicy scent. Very strong taste and a nice bodied beer. Malty here and packs a punch. jebert (110), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Feb 3, 2009 Pours a cooper red with a small white-tan head. Aroma is of malt with a slight hint of alchol.Fair amount of creaminess on the palate. Taste is primaily the malted wheat with a slight hops finish. Not overly flavorful for a seasonal craft beer. cprochak (388), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 1, 2009 Bottle. Nice aroma but has mild flaver. Goes down very smooth with a good aftertaste. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA Feb 1, 2009 clear copper color, nice off-white head, great lacing. aroma of musty malt and spice. flavor is spicy, malty and roasty. medium bodied, dry finish. very enjoyable on a snow cold st. louis january day. Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA Jan 31, 2009 Decent winter beer. Almost a copper color, with minimal head. I drank a couple on tap with dinner. Finish is a bit bitter but nothing overwhelming. Its just your typical Sam Adams creation. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 30, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a clearish dark amber color with a one finger tan head that quickly dissipated. The aroma was bland, with only some spices present, and maybe some sweetish malt. The flavor was caramel with a faint bitter finish. This most definitely is not a weizen bock, so judged by the style listed, this is a terrible beer. However, for drinkability, this is actually pretty decent.
