This one mixes spices and toffee perfectly. It pours a medium brown with a medium head. It smells good, looks good, and tastes great. The finish is as good as the start. Highly recommended. mikemal (5), , Alabama, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2009 This is an excellent winter beer. A dark bock with plenty of spices, malt, and toffee flavor. At the top of the list for seasonal brews. BroSpud (594), , Massachusetts, USA

The multitudes of other beers they offer don’t excite me all that much This is one of those others. This lager is smooth with plenty of carbination and medium texture. A slight taste of spices,
orange and lemon peel, dried plum, coriander, hibiscus, rose hips, tamarind, and vanilla. A nice malty flavor from malted wheat and malted barley. A delight to drink from top to bottom. jmulv (82), Rensselaer, New York, USA

It has a nice complex taste with a good balance of spices. A robust yet drinkable beer that helps take the bite out of another harsh Northeast winter. trayns (240), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA

Knew it was a weizenbock the second I smelled it as I was pouring into a glass. The malted wheat is almost overwhelming. Unfortunately, the finish is a bit watery... or maybe that’s because I drank the cream stout before this...
