topherh (889), Kearney, Missouri, USA Jan 14, 2009 Bottle pours brownish amber. Aroma is sweet malts and spices. Flavor is light sweetness, light spiciness, with a peculiar tartness in the finish. sleestak (180), Williamston, Michigan, USA Jan 12, 2009 Pint on tap. Pretty amber pour with a creamy two-finger head. Malty and spicy on the nose. Flavor is sweet malt with a trace of nutmeg and cinnamon. Earthy hop profile in the finish. Thin body, but overall a tasty beer. (And, sadly, loads better than the other options at the hotel bar.) smooch (95), Sylvania, Ohio, USA Jan 12, 2009 Nice, winter brew. A little bit of the spices without being so clear as to be identified though. BVery (446), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Jan 12, 2009 Updated: Nov 2, 2009TAP, BOTTLE: amber/reddish appearance, sweet malt with spice, and a little hop at the end. Thin body. Pretty decent winter beer. wmubronco1992 (176), Coldwater, Michigan, USA Jan 11, 2009 Bottle from Holiday Sampler 12 pack. Lighter Amber color. Big off white head that dissipated quickly. No lacing. Light spice aroma and taste of the same. Aren’t weizen bocks supposed to be dark? This one definitely was not. There was a hint of spices in this beer but it was really subtle. Overall a pleasant beer, but nothing special. The body was too thin to make it impressive. BillWyce (90), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 11, 2009 poured reddish amber with a light tan head. Spmewhat of a sweet malty aroma with a spice note underneath. Taste was similar: malty sweet with a
mild spice note. Very mild hop bite at the back. Solid, but not a star. jmw141 (134), Canton, Illinois, USA Jan 11, 2009 Bottle pour. A fairly simple winter beer. I didn’t really pick up on any distinctive weizen bock characteristics in this one. Just kind of spicy like I expected it to be. amishcaravan (237), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jan 10, 2009 mild scent of hops. taste is of some lightly burnt roast and again mild hops. not a terrible beer but probably not one that i would get again.
