edect (8), Imperial, Missouri, USA does not count Jan 2, 2009 Draft/Ameristar Casino Oyster Bar, St. Charles, MO-Bitter and very malty. I prefer my food spicy, not my beer, so this isn’t exactly my cup of tea (or glass of beer), but judging it by its class, not a bad lager. Kudos to anyone that can down a 6 of these (or 2, even) in one evening. One the whole, though, if you’re having just one, very full bodied, nice finish. Mirage52 (123), New Market, Maryland, USA Jan 2, 2009 Pours a copper-brown color with a tan head and lots of carbination. Taste is malty with caramel and nuts. Finish is slightly dry, bitter. A good one. Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Jan 1, 2009 Color is a nice clear coppery amber with a decent head. Aroma is fairly strong, malty with a firm undertone of spice and a hint of caramel. Flavor matches the aroma, malty and spicy with caramel and nutty hints. Texture is lively and jazzy, leaving a pleasing finish. nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Jan 1, 2009 Pours an amber color with a white forming head. Good smell but I didn’t enjoy the flavor. Lager feel and taste behind this one and I’m just not a lager guy. msjacilynn (18), St Paul, Minnesota, USA Dec 31, 2008 bottle. pours copper wtih a thin tan head. smells of caramel, malts and cherry. tastes slightly sweet with hints of spices and a watery aftertaste. very enjoyable beer for winter...currently -6 outside in MN! cellar (484), Dublin, Ireland Dec 31, 2008 Thx for a great tasting, Kim Johansen... it will never be the same again :-) Dark amber w tiny head. Malty aroma of sweet ripe fruit and caramel. Flavour is sweet w a supprysingly dry bitter finish. rman18 (200), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Dec 31, 2008 This poured a dark brown with a small off white head. I had this on tap at the local bar. It only had subtle winter beer flavors or cinnamon, caramel, slight hops, some spice, nothing over done which makes it a good drinking beer... not a favorite but the best choice at a lot of bars. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 30, 2008 Bottle- Dark copper pour with an off-white head. Some spice and hops on the nose. The wheat body and rather weak constitution of this dose not appeal to me. Middle of the road seasonal.
