Pours an amber color with a white forming head. Good smell but I didn’t enjoy the flavor. Lager feel and taste behind this one and I’m just not a lager guy.

Thx for a great tasting, Kim Johansen... it will never be the same again :-) Dark amber w tiny head. Malty aroma of sweet ripe fruit and caramel. Flavour is sweet w a supprysingly dry bitter finish.

This poured a dark brown with a small off white head. I had this on tap at the local bar. It only had subtle winter beer flavors or cinnamon, caramel, slight hops, some spice, nothing over done which makes it a good drinking beer... not a favorite but the best choice at a lot of bars.

Bottle- Dark copper pour with an off-white head. Some spice and hops on the nose. The wheat body and rather weak constitution of this dose not appeal to me. Middle of the road seasonal.

Brewed with cinnamon, ginger and orange peel, the winter version provides a greater complexity in taste. In addition to the above mentioned flavors, hazelnut and cherry essences emerge as well. The lager is clear and deep red in color. Less carbonation than the Boston Lager. This beer is still a bit watery, but overall I found it quite enjoyable.

pours a copper-color with a very small, creamy, off-white head. good aroma, malty flavor w/ a taste of spices that are not too strong, well-balanced, finishes with some final notes of caramel. great seasonable beer, one of my favorites.
