| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2008 Updated: Dec 3, 200812-ounce bottle. Pours a caramel-brown with almost no head. Aroma is kind of bland, and is like a cheap lager. Flavor is good, solid, with honey and toffee in the forefront. The high carbonation works well on this brew and tingles on the tongue and roof of the mouth. Overall, good. A lot better than anticipated. xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Draft. Clear brown/orange-tinted pour with minimal off-white head. Spice is light, beer is malty and similar to their Oktoberfest, with a bit more spice and malty sweetness. Some slight orange peel, I think. Not very wheaty at all. Certainly not complex, but thoroughly drinkable and solid with food. bbbrew (182), Washington DC, USA
