Light cinnamon aroma with a hint of hops. Taste is a little dry with a nice grainy flavor. Has a hint of caramel malt and a strong cinnamon taste. A great winter warmer and one of my favorite holiday brews. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark copper color with a large, light tan head that fades. Taste is of malt, hops, caramel and spice. Well balanced and is drinkable, but has a thin body. Aroma is similar, but is more muted. Very easy to drink and is a pretty enjoyable seasonal offering. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 19, 2008 Tap. Poured a thinnish red/brown, with no head. Had a sort of sour and malty nose. Flavor was similar to the nose, and to their regular lager with some mild spice notes. This is very malty in throughout and in the finish. Not my first choice. gringo332 (238), Richardson, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2008 Warm copper red color. Small head quickly retreats to little slick of lace. Malt, coffee, maybe the faintest hint of fruit on the nose, but I may be reaching too. Quick bitter bite jumps to hint of sweetness to nothing much at all. Eh. UriahHeep (103), Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2008 Poured mahogany with little head. Aroma of caramel, nut and cinnamon. Taste is sweet wheat up front with little hoppiness and a faint malt backbone. Syrupy and sticky with a medium mouthfeel. The smoothness of the drink belies the ABV, which is moderately high. Pretty solid beer, but not a ’’home run.’’
