Dec 28, 2007 Poured from a bottle. Pours a deep red amber color. Nice foamy head. Smells of malt with a citrus hint, maybe some spice. Has a medium mouthfeel and taste is mostly caramel malt. Not bad at all.

Dec 28, 2007 Poured amber with a good amount of head. This winter brew is excellent. It incorporates a light hit of spices to complement a smooth, malty brew. Hits the spot during the cold winter months.

Dec 27, 2007 Amber pour and plenty of frothy head. Aroma is strongly fruity, similar to banana bread. Flavor is malty with a touch of spices and very little bitterness. A bit thin for a winter brew I thought but this makes it a bit more refreshing than a warmer. I enjoy this much more than many Sam Adams seasonals and is very nice on draft.
