Sanchex (223), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 10, 2007 Tastes suspiciously like their Oktobertfest beer. The aroma has banana and sweet malt notes. Flavor has more banana, cotton candy, and hint of caramel. Very sweet beer. Cheers! hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA Dec 10, 2007 draft- carmelly, with some roasted notes that are very subtle. Some definite sweetness in there with the typically subdued sam adams noble hops. A nice alternative in bars that dont have much in the way of selection. elgavilancillo (63), South Gate, California, USA Dec 9, 2007 Updated: Nov 28, 2008bitter sweet with nice appearance very rich and smooth beer perfect on a winter night beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA Dec 9, 2007 no aroma form a deep amber body with a small tan head.Matly sweet balanced well with hops, toatsed malt present along with a touch of hallertau hop flavor. Semi dry finish. not bad for a mass produced beer. BeerDrew (2), USA does not count Dec 9, 2007 Smell cinnamon, cloves and orange. The taste is rich but not too heavy. The hops you’d expect from Samuel Adams, with a good bit of cinnamon and citrus. The depth of flavor is a bit hard to describe and unexpected in a lager. I enjoy it, and I’d say it’s worth a few. Good session beer. naivepegasus (183), USA Dec 9, 2007 Pours a dark red with two fingers of off-white head. Aroma is of wheat, vanilla, and caramel. Tastes like a wheat beer with a lot of spice to it- it has a full-body taste to it, yet at the same time its an easy session beer. Not bad, though. mrant (330), New York, USA Dec 8, 2007 Smells dark and wheaty, some yeast. Taste is thick dark malts followed by a nice wheat taste. Nice and dark wheat. puboflyons (589), New Hampshire, USA Dec 8, 2007 12 Fl Oz (US) bottle with an expiration date of Mar 08. The pour almost looks orange coming out of he bottle but it ends up being a handsome ruby-copper with a puffy tan head. The malts are noticeable in the aroma. Comfortable mouth feel. Oh yes, this is very smooth. A little touch of something fruity in the mix. A mild one with no aftertaste. Very enjoyable.
