puboflyons (589), New Hampshire, USA Dec 8, 2007 12 Fl Oz (US) bottle with an expiration date of Mar 08. The pour almost looks orange coming out of he bottle but it ends up being a handsome ruby-copper with a puffy tan head. The malts are noticeable in the aroma. Comfortable mouth feel. Oh yes, this is very smooth. A little touch of something fruity in the mix. A mild one with no aftertaste. Very enjoyable. BelgianBeerGal (1275), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 8, 2007 Bottle poured into pint glass. Clear copper/brown colour with a thin tan film on top. Aroma is light vanilla and caramel. Flavour is malt, spice and slight hop in the finish. Maybe simple but drinkable. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Dec 8, 2007 An all head amber pour. Has a blandly sweet aroma with cara-mel. Tastes of toffee, caramel. A desert beer. cazort (413), Newark, Delaware, USA Dec 7, 2007 Creamy, aroma of vanilla. Aroma almost more characteristic of a liqueur than a beer. Not very hoppy. Very rich, and a tiny bit sour. There’s more malt than anything else, and the malt is very complex. Doesn’t taste at all like a wheat beer. Doesn’t taste spicey either, which I like...it’s more fruity and has tones almost reminiscent of whiskey. Certainly unique; difficult to drink very much of though, it becomes a bit overwhelming and makes me thirsty. raymondwave (867), Finland Dec 7, 2007 Updated: Dec 8, 2007Bottle 0.355 l, 5.6 %. Darkish amber/orange. Flavor is pretty deep, sweetish, wheaty and american style full. Not subtle by any means, but in your face tasty. And tasty it is. Not sure about the weizen bock cathegory, if you compare to any other weizen bocks, as this is quite an easy session beer. NeoHippie2 (173), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Dec 7, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a small white head. Spiced aroma with wheat and hints of caramel. Complex flavor but not too heavy. Crisp, clean finish. A nice treat for the winter. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA Dec 7, 2007 Solid performer. It offers a nice array of full body flavors, with a ligher complexity and smooth character. It is a little spicy, a little wheaty, and a little biscuity. It offers slight hop nose, and offers a good caramel flavor as well. BeNobleDark (59), Allendale, Michigan, USA Dec 6, 2007 Pleasant, crisp aroma that prepares your nose for the deliscious, smooth brew that is about to cross your palate. Dark color with a thin head. Soft caramel tones, noticable hop presence.
