| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Pours a nice amber, with off white head and diminishing bubbles. Um, yes, very interesting. I’m eff’ed. Super, duper - beyond the break. hoppy citrus bitterness with some decent holiday yeast (?) and sweeter than normal malt presence for SA, maybe for the holiday season. - in general, I like. Had a bomber of a night. Oh boy. I’ve done no one any help. Oops. Well, this is a decent brew to grab at a bar. It’s not a cherish-able, admirable beer, but chug for comfort. (!!!) | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Pours a nice reddish copper color with a slight head. Form the smell you can smell some spice notes. The taste is sweet malts with a some spice. I can easily throw back a rew of these easily. Good winter offering from SA. ElGaucho56 (390), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Pours a dark copper-amber with minute slightly offwhite head that dissipates quickly; nose is nutty caramel, rather sweet, sort of a nutmeg/hazelnut aroma; again very sweet on the palate, wheat shows up in the decent body for a lager, mild minty hops towards the finish. Pretty palatable if not very fortifying. sinkr (212), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a very light, fluffy tan, but almost white head. Has a hoppy and a spicy aroma and a taste that starts out mildly bitter, then seemingly has a metal aftertaste, but only on a few odd sips. Doesn’t stic around on the palette very long, but does leave somewhat of a bit of a caramel aftertaste. Jonte (815), Gothenburg, Sweden
