junon (210), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Nov 19, 2007 Not bad. As always Sam Adams creates a beautiful looking beverage. Smooth with a nice little bite at the end. Not special but very drinkable. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 straightforward lager with some mild spices and noticeable wheat. Not bad, but I won’t go out of my way for this. chadcs (76), Westminster, South Carolina, USA Nov 18, 2007 Very Smooth taste, Reminds me of a Stout with more of a mellow finish than the stouts have, Very nice to sit outside on a cold day and drink a few of these. jrob21 (1251), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Nov 17, 2007 Poured a clear deep golden color. Was not expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised. Nice wheat and malt flavors and aromas. Crisp and clean finish. Light bodied. performula (147), Triangle Area, North Carolina, USA Nov 17, 2007 Had a mug at Carabbas. Malty scent and flavor. Reminded me of an Oktoberfest. dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Nov 17, 2007 Bottle. Deep copper, with a thick, cream off white head. Strong malt aroma, without much hint of the wheat. Also a good measure of hops in the aroma. Heavy, with a rich malty character, with some of the wheat coming through. For a wheat beer, one of my favorites. truebluehes (104), Tipton, Iowa, USA Nov 17, 2007 Bottle and Tap. Nice beer, but nothing special. Toffeeish sweet aroma, simple mouthfeel weak malts. Nice and smooth, with a slightly spicy bitter fiinish. BrewManHere (9), Pennsylvania, USA does not count Nov 17, 2007 Excellent beer, as good or better than their Octoberfest. Perfect for a cold winter night. Not as good as a "brew pub" type beer, but it’s top of the line for a major brewer.
