A flovorful beer served seasonally at the Nationwide Arena. I would probably enjoy this lager more if I was not so sad to see the Octoberfest beer go away before it.

On tap at my home kegorator. Pours Dark brown with medium off white head. A hearty body with a satisfying texture. A malty aroama that was pleasing until I discovered Troegenator.

Nice winter warmer. Has a spiced taste, good thick mouthfeel. Has a splendid roasty malty quality. Smooth brew. I vastly prefer Great Lakes Brewery’s Christmas Ale, but this is not bad. Very welcomed in my winter variety pack.

On tap at HSBC Arena. Pours dark brown with little head. A little flat. Mild aroma of malt, and similar taste. Dedent enough.

Draft at a Friday’s. Poured a clear amber. Aroma was malts and yeast with a tad bit of hops. It had notes of dark fruit, spice, and maybe caramel. The taste reminded me of a spiced Boston Lager. The finish had a small bitter bite to it.

Widely available, on tap and in bottle. A good, drinkable fall/winter beer, but would probably be difficult/undesirable to drink more than one at a time. I generally have one on tap near the start of Winter and that’s it. Not a favourite.
