3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A slightly cloudy, reddish brown pour with a very small fully diminishing off white head. Inviting medium intensity nose with aromas of malt, hops, and sweetness. Medium to high intensity, with medium coarse body, medium aftertaste, with a round, creamy, texture. There is an acid salty flavor reminding me of Soya Sauce on rice. Also, there is some light bitterness, light spice, sweet, caramel notes with a slight bitter finish. Rich well balanced quality. Appreciated.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice brown colour with a respectable light tan head. Faint spicy, clean aroma. Nice, slightly sweet malty taste, with just a hint of spice. Trace alcohol finish. I prefer a bit heavier brew in the winter, but on those occasions when I want something a bit lighter, this will do just fine.

Backlog. Bottle from Systembolaget. This is one of my standard winter-beers, i love it, it’s not overly complex. High drinkability with a nice backbone.

Purchased from the LCBO. A little disappointed with this beer. Flavour and aroma not up to my expectations of Samuel Adams but still a decent option.
