Overall: Decent winter lager, very easy drinking. sneagrams3 (1764), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2006 12oz bottle. Filtered and reddish. Sparse ring of light beige head. Toasty cinnamon and slightly musty aromas. Medium bodied with a similar flavor profile as the aromas. Toasty, medium roasted malts. Crisp rather sharp flavors. Grainy wheat note. The spices, especially the Vietnamese cinnamon really add a nice flavor. Very tasty in moderation. jake65 (1760), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Poured a medium brown with hints of amber, with a medium to small amount of head. Features a nice maltiness, caramels, and several spices that I associate with the winter season - cinnamon, clove, and a little sugar for sweetness. Smooth to drink, I look forward to having this again. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2003 Very sweet and full bodied. About as drinkable as SA Lager. Not too bad for being mass produced and widely available. I doubt I'll try it again though. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Draft. Clear brown amber body. Malty caramel flavor with nutmeg/cinnamon spice in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit too tingly for me. A tastey and well-done bock. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2002 Moderate malt and light hop nose. Small, fully diminishing head with no lace. Clear, dark, reddish black body. Moderately sweet and bitter; well balanced. Softly carbonated, almost flat. Not as tasty as the Boston Lager but above average for a Winter brew. A solid offering ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
