COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bold and rich, with a touch of holiday spice. The first thing one notices about a Samuel Adams® Winter Lager is the deep ruby color. Then comes the magical aroma which promises something special on the tongue. The cinnamon, ginger, and hint of citrus from the orange peel blend with the roasty sweetness of the malts to deliver a warming, spicy flavor. On the palate Samuel Adams Winter Lager is rich and full bodied, robust and warming, a wonderful way to enjoy the cold evenings that come with the season.

Bottle poured a big head that faded quickly nice reddish amber color. Taste pretty simple light to moderate hops throughout a bit watery. More malt and substance would improve it. Drinkable but far from special.

Ok I guess. Like there other lager with aded spice. Dark orange pour good carbonation. Sme cinnamon and nutmeg. Just seems artificial and manufactured.

Tall draft at Chili's. Darkest beer they have on draft, reddish brown, light tan head. Citrus and spice to the nose follows through to taste, maybe a little orange. Goes good with all the food, always enjoy it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep amber beer with a medium foamy off white head. Nose of light caramel, bread, and cinnamon, but overall it’s pretty faint. Flavor is a bit stronger with something reminiscent of gingerbread giving way to a mild astringent bitterness before a caramel sweetness re-emerges. Pretty good beer, but relatively mild.
