BruceLeroy (68), North Dakota, USA Jan 3, 2003 Hmm, I seem to be in the minority here, but you can color me unimpressed. Why is it called a lager? I thought lagers had alcohol content of under 5%? This one you can taste the alcohol slightly. This beer MUST be served freezing cold to be enjoyed at all. Once the beer starts warming up, it becomes a challenge to finish. It becomes more bitter and flavorless. I recommend you take this beer out of the fridge and throw it in the freezer for about an hour before you consume. Or perhaps avoid buying it altogether. This beer is too bitter.
derekbang (83), Indiana, USA Jul 12, 2008 Had this as part of a gift/assortment pack. Very fruity, as expected, and for a wheat beer, which I’m not a big fan, it was acceptable. Probably would not select on my own accord. Todeon (145), Höllviken, Sweden Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Reallty intense redbrown color. Aroma is a bit fruity with some nutty notes also. Flavor is malty with some caramel and fruity notes with a sweet finish. BlockBrew (50), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 5, 2008 I had this brew a while back and what I remember most is that I did not enjoy this beer at all. I’m going to give it another shot when it comes around this year and give it a re-rate. But for now, just based on lasting impression on memory, one of my least favorites. azlondon (461), Greater London, England Jun 30, 2008 Appearance: Chestnut red. Nice amount of head.
