Bottled. The beer pours more red than brown, with a light cream colored head that disipates quickly. The smell is typical lager, not noting many spices in the nose. The flavor picks up on some nutmeg and orange peel, but a has an odd biting finish that does not flow with the rest of the flavors. Overall, it’s decent, but will not be a regular winter selection for me.

Jul 12, 2008 Had this as part of a gift/assortment pack. Very fruity, as expected, and for a wheat beer, which I’m not a big fan, it was acceptable. Probably would not select on my own accord.

Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Reallty intense redbrown color. Aroma is a bit fruity with some nutty notes also. Flavor is malty with some caramel and fruity notes with a sweet finish.

Jul 5, 2008 I had this brew a while back and what I remember most is that I did not enjoy this beer at all. I’m going to give it another shot when it comes around this year and give it a re-rate. But for now, just based on lasting impression on memory, one of my least favorites.

Aroma: Malt and nutty. Cinnamon/mulled wine.
Taste: Pretty malty, some hops and fruit. Cinnamon.

Jun 24, 2008 Pours amber in color. Nose of malts and spice, some citrus. Pretty much the same in the mouth. Pretty good winter beer.
