3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Poured reddish-brown in color with a big frothy light brown head that had excellent lacing. The aroma was of lightly toasted grainy malts, cloves, ginger and mild resin like hops with a medicine like odor. It taste bitter-sweet with an acidic finish that stayed with you a while. Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Overall an decent brew.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear amber body with a thick beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of copper, wood and spices. Flavour of rust, brown sugar and a black cherry finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A nice alternative Lager.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice color with some nice head retention. Smells malty and of cloves. Tastes similar to the smell. This is sub par at best and would likely pass if offered again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark amber colour with a dark off white short lasting head. Good viscousity.
On the nose aromas of malt predominates at first but also some fruity-spice mix appears. Soft texture medium bodied with mainly sweet fruity-malt flavours and a sift hop bitterness. A faint iron note was to be noticed, unfortunately! The finish was medium lasting.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brilliant amber body with two inches of khaki-white head. Malty spice flavor encourages warmness during the winter months.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Hints of so-called holiday spices greet the nose at first but the scents are not fully matched when tasted; cinnamon, grass, caramel, some dough. Ok enough as a drink in the bar.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Amber brown colour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is delicious fruit, spices and caramel, like a fruitcake; some cinnamon and citrus, some cherries and dark fruits as it warms. Flavour is much the same, with a touch of ginger and molasses, medium bodied and fairly sweet without being cloying. Wow, really glad I picked this up. By far the best beer I’ve ever had with the word Lager in the title.
