managed to get a pint of this before the last barrel went at Hyroyds WMC. It’s been years since I’d had on of these and I’d forgotten how good it was. straw/hay/grass aroma with a little lemon citrus. flavour is slightly malty with a hint of hop. prickly carb. slight bitter finish. allegedly the 2.8 version tastes exactly the same. i’ll be on the look out!

On tap at The Rose of York, Richmond, Surrey 23.07.11 on the Thames Tipple Pours gold with a white head and busy carbonation, there is a good clarity to this lager. Sweet, malty and with a touch of bitterness this is as I expected. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

On tap at the Duke of Argyll, Soho. This is the one we tend to drink after work, as its cheap and goes down easy (is there a Soho joke in there somewhere?) Pours a pale yellow, with a medium white head. Aromas of straw, low hop, and a touch of citrus. Taste is much the same. Plain, but a little different to other pale lagers

On tap the Princess Louise. Clear gold beer, very malty with a distinct caraway nuttyness. A bit different for a lager but would not want loads.
