2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Keg at The Three Goats Heads, Oxford. Pale straw with white head, carbonated. Sharp crisp lager, some tinnyness perhaps, but a reasonably neat Lager. Sharp malt note on the close. Reasonable.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at Princess Louise. Very weak smell and taste on this one, even for a lager. However it didn’t have any off flavours and was fairly easy to drink. As I sat at the pub on Friday I noticed it was one of the more popular brews.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20

On tap the Princess Louise. Clear gold beer, very malty with a distinct caraway nuttyness. A bit different for a lager but would not want loads.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. Clear yellow pour, super bubbly, with a foamy white head. Pale malt nose with straw hops. Lightly sweet, bready flavor with some cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. More cereal and bread in the finish with crispy bitters. Not terrible, just a bit bland.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2010 17th April 2010, at The Swiss Cottage. Standard lager looks, golden with a little white head. Plain and lacking in flavour. Inoffensive is the word that comes to mind.

Draught at Robert Raikes House, Gloucester - 30/10/10. Little nose. Hoppy palate but not that strong tasting. Cold and easy to drink.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Duke of Argyll, Soho. This is the one we tend to drink after work, as its cheap and goes down easy (is there a Soho joke in there somewhere?)
Pours a pale yellow, with a medium white head. Aromas of straw, low hop, and a touch of citrus. Taste is much the same. Plain, but a little different to other pale lagers

[2715-20100119] Tap. Not much aroma, a little straw. Clear, light yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Little straw continues in the flavour. Light-medium body. Not wonderful but interesting to try.
