COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Brosí tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smithís small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle from Ashley. Light, weird pour with a big white head. Aroma is apricot and sweetness. Taste is kinda off, more apricot, and an unpleasant finish.

Pours a hazy brown with minimal head. Aroma of apricots with some citrus and some grass. Floral hops. Not very bitter. Dry finish. Nice beer.

Cloudy gold - orange beer with a small white head. Palate is smooth. Intense tangy apricot underpinned by creamy malt. Finishes sweet and tangy. Great creamy fruit beer and one in the eye for beer snobs! Ha!

Bottle from Whole Foods Kensington, London. Colour is almost clear golden amber, thin head head. Nose is very fragrant apricot, but thereís also some mango, like a mango lasso drink. Some lactic. Itís very sweet fresh apricots. Taste is sweet sugary apricot, almost like a fruit drink, but nicely balanced is a light to medium beer backbone and some light tartness to temper the sweetness. Crisp lagerish backbone.

From 22oz bottle to flute. Pour is a very deep dull orange. Nose is of obvious apricot. Taste is very sweet, light body with a champagne-like carbonation to finish. Refreshing beer, very impressive what this brewery can do with fruit beers.

Yet another sweet and summer-satisfying fruit beer from Samuel Smith. Probably a little too sweet, but very refreshing during summerís last stand. Difficult to dislike, but not what most would call excellent beer.

August 21, 2013 - bottle, at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. Murky orange-gold with a minimal white head. Aroma is pretty pungent - slightly unripe apricot and lemon, just a little grassiness to make it smell vaguely beer-like. Taste - pretty solid - ripe apricot and mild but present funk, not much alcohol - maybe a bit like a tart apricot and wine concoction, but actually pretty damned drinkable. Thick body, some acidity, high, light stinging carbonation and a quick sweet/tart fruity finish. I like this better than their others.

355ml bottle. Orangey golden-yellow colour, white foam head that dissipates and aroma of sugary apricot & syrup. Taste is sweet fruity apricot with flowery hop and yeasty notes, some tartness and light bitterness. Light bodied, well carbonated, crisp dry sourish finish. Quite drinkable.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Amazing aroma to start things off - flowers and fresh apricots, followed by yeast and wheat. A pretty foamy head atop a butterscotch colored pour. It tastes really good - sweet and tangy, with apricot juice, honey, chamomile, and lemon zinger tea. Some flavoring were added, which should nullify the "organic" label, but donít let that stop you from trying this excellent fruit beer.
