COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros’ tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Nice peach apricot smell, finger head, lacing that dissipates rather quickly but nice. Light tartness and sweet taste. Very good, surprised me. Good citrus aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a generous white head. Nice apricot aroma. Odd becasue I wouldn’t previously have thought of apricots as having a very distinctive aroma. Flavour is a supreme balance of malt and fruit with a touch of wheat. The apricot is very well rendered. A touch oversweet on the finish. This is probably the best fruit beer I’ve tasted.

500mL bottle. Poured cloudy peach with a nice cap of white head. The aroma picked up lots of fairly sweet apricot and peachy notes, with touches of must and earth.. no complaints. The flavor opened tart, with apricot skins and a bit of wheat character.. sweeter apricots (not much peach here) at the core with wheaty undertones.. deeper apricot character and wheat tartness on the finish.. tasty stuff. Medium-bodied with just the right engaging tartness on the palate.. smooth across the middle.. very good feel and flow. I enjoyed it much.

Bottle from app vintner - pours a cloudy peach with a white head. Aroma apricots, wheat, and malt. Taste is sweet with a nice bite. Palate is syrupy. Overall, one of the few apricot based beers that tastes like apricots!

Murky orange pour with a large thick white head that laces. Nose is very juice apricot juice with some subtle sweet malt in the background. Flavor is nicely balanced sweet tart apricot juice with notes of grapefruit and more citrus. Medium light bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty damn tasty fruit beer.

Tallahassee, Fl - Liquor Loft - 500 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy medium golden-orange with a sticky white head that sticks around a while. Clean fresh apricot aroma, a hint of an orange dreamsicle. Flavor is tangy and sour with some yeasty accents, some natural tasting apricot notes, a touch of orange peel, slightly earthy. Mouthfeel is thick enough, just a trace of metal in the back end. A pleasant diversion.
