COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros’ tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4831) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2013 Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a trace foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet apricot, sugar and a touch of yeast. The flavor was very sweet apricot jam with a tart and sour middle followed by sugar and more apricot. Long sweet sugar and apricot jam finish. Fairly full bodied and syrupy. Excellent.

550ml bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of fresh ripe apricots and light malts. Tasted is of sweet ripe apricot, floral hops, with minimal bitterness. M - It was fairly crisp and sharp. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.

Wonderfully cloudy amber color. Average head. Fine sweet ale and fruit taste. However, the apricot taste was muted.

Bottle from Beer Hive, Edinburgh [230713]
Amber golden yellow, clear, bubbly white head that dissipates to thin layer, good colour
Aroma - Huge sweet apricot juice, slight touch of yeast and cereal underneath
Taste - Apricot, little tart, sweet , good flavour, mostly apricot but a hint of a beer base underneath (slight cereal) which works well with the apricot
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, oily texture, sweet palate, little fruity syrup. Finish - sweet apricot and a soft bitter beer tail
Overall - Good apricot flavour, it’s maybe too sweet but it’s a fruit beer. It was better than I expected because I’m not a big fan of apricot

Bottle at PIB, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out pungent apricots, with not much else. Flavour is similar, with loads of apricot, with a medium residual sugar quality. Very fruity and mildly sugary. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Great stuff.

Tons of apricot and orange flavor, interesting fermentation.. somewhere between champaign and a really subtle sour/wild ale. Great beer.

Bottle into glass. Extremely Hazy orange pour with a small white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Nose is dominated by fruit, apricot. Taste is overwhelming apricot, not much else. Little to no alcohol presence. Tastes good but too fruity? No beer characteristic.
