COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros’ tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

;bottle ). A delicious apricot ale with great balance of tart and sweetness. Aroma is distinctly apricot. The flavor follows true. Good palate. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a clear-ish yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a floral apricot. Flavor is also a nice apricot without the sweetness of the strawberry beer. This one I would get again. Nice mild apricot flavor with a more dry finish.

Cask at The Captain Kidd, Wapping, London, Saturday 23rd May 2015 Warm gold in colour with a slim white head. Lots of apricot on the nose and really apricot in the mouth although a rather different beast to Fou Foune, very pleasant but quite sweet, juicy apricots aplenty. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Rated from notes taken 22 Apr 2012 -- Bottle poured into a pint glass. The beer is much like the organic cider in appearance and aroma. Pleasant for both. Flavor is pretty strong fruit flavor, but not excessive or overdone like some mass produced American examples. Very nice beer to drink.

It’s good. But it’s not a beer. It’s juice. Like from a juice box. The kind where it says it’s apricot juice, but it’s really 97% Apple juice, and they add some apricot concentrate to try and fool you into thinking it’s apricot juice. Apricot, tough of sweetness and tartness.

Bottle from the Maypole, Cambridge. Yellow-orange, very clear and almost flat. Light apricot, resin, crabapple, Chardonnay in the bouquet. Mellow, subtle sour-sweet taste, which rounds to a slightly more pronounced sourness in the finish. Exceptionally tasty and more like a ’proper’ beer than many fruit beers.

This beer pours a very clear golden color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma blends apricots and bready malts, and the taste is similar: mildly sweet and slightly sour with strong apricot flavors all the way through the aftertaste. The palate fuses a slick texture, medium-light body, and a soft carbonation.

355ml bottle. Clear, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, apricot aroma. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, apricot notes, slightly prickling sherbet character. Not too sweet, without artificial touch, slightly monotonous. OK.

Birra all’albicocca. Colore chiaro.

355 ml bottle, ABV 5.1%, at Robert Raikes’ House (a Samuel Smith pub), Gloucester. Served ice cold. Golden colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of apricots. The flavour is medium sweet, not cloying, with distinct apricots throughout. Low bitterness.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a very strong fruit (apricot) aroma. Appearance- A pale yellow similar to AAL style beer, with a small white head. Taste- Has a powerful fruit flavorful that is rather sweet. Too sweet for me. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation, the sweetness subtracts from the beer to much for me. Overall- Not my cup of tea er. beer. To much sugar and not enough beer flavor to keep me drinking this more often.
