3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 nick76 (4077) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 18, 2012
The appearance is cloudy peach with a medium head. The aroma is fruity but also a bit meaty and there is a yeasty beer underneath. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a nice beer to try but it has an off aftertaste that throws it for me.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jredmond (4023) - Manhattan, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Ken during some Settlers of Catan. Pours a beautiful deep peach nectar juice body with thin white bubbly lacing. Aroma is apricot and sugar. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of peach, apricot, fruit juice, sugar and light tin. If the light tin flavor was diminished a bit this would be incredible, but still serves as a sessionable fruit ale.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 unclemattie (3709) - Georgia, USA - MAY 21, 2012
550mL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a touch of pink. Looks like Apricot juice. Thick creamy white foam. Aroma of apricot puree, loads of fruit. Distant floral hops? No essence of malt. Tastes mildly sweet, a touch of fruit tartness. Again it tastes like apricot nectar. So good and fruity, it feels healthy; like a smoothie. Thick texture, heavy bodied, light ABV. Apricot has dominated the existence of all the senses in this beer, in the best ways possible. Very refreshing, an excellent fruit beer. (3342)

Pours hazy apricot into an English pint. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Apricot and sour cream aromas. Sour apricot upfront turning creamy in the lasting fruit finish.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3445) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Good bottle, standard Sam Smith throwback label; foggy gold. Pleasantly sour, pickled apricot aroma. Sweet and tart, you can almost feel the fuzzy apricot skin on your tongue, lightly bitter. Medium body, medium tangy finish. Thanks, LuckyDog.

bottle. cloudy gold with a large, fluffy, stable white head. strong, apricot nose. creamy and full bodied. drinks like juice. sweet but not overly so. lots genuine apricot flavors over a bright, well made, hefty, wheat beer. i think these samuel smith fruit beer offerings have all been great.
