COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros’ tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Aroma is yeast and apricot juice/skin. The flavor is apricot juice and a big sweetness/sourness that dominates into the finish. Not exceptional but pretty good still.

550ml bottle, shared with my mom. Decent, thin white head. Completely hazy yellow / orange color, looks very fruity. Lighter carbonation, more dry texture. Very nice, pronounced apricot juice flavor. Nice, sort of tart sweet taste. Nice tasty juicy ale. I wasn’t really impressed with the first few beers I tried from this brewery, but this one is a winner. Maybe I should try more of their "organic" offerings..

Bottled sample at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of apricots, tropical fruits, caramel. The taste is fruit rollups, apricot and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Pretty tasty.

Bottle:   This is one smooth brew, lots of Apricot and not the fake stuff either.   Dark straw in color, very thick, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Nose is a little dank, has an Apricot aroma and also a bit of fruity cheese and tootsie roll, surprisingly enough.   Just like with New Glarus, had you given this to me and not told me what it was I wouldnt think of it as beer.   Liked this one.

Pours super cloudy, dirty orange. Aromas of cereals and apricot. Relatively full bodied with some maltiness up front, and then it’s all chewy apricot. Finish is slightly tart. Very fruity.

Murky orange pour with a large thick white head that laces. Nose is very juice apricot juice with some subtle sweet malt in the background. Flavor is nicely balanced sweet tart apricot juice with notes of grapefruit and more citrus. Medium light bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty damn tasty fruit beer.

500mL bottle. Poured cloudy peach with a nice cap of white head. The aroma picked up lots of fairly sweet apricot and peachy notes, with touches of must and earth.. no complaints. The flavor opened tart, with apricot skins and a bit of wheat character.. sweeter apricots (not much peach here) at the core with wheaty undertones.. deeper apricot character and wheat tartness on the finish.. tasty stuff. Medium-bodied with just the right engaging tartness on the palate.. smooth across the middle.. very good feel and flow. I enjoyed it much.

500ml bottle. Body had a nice cloudy golden hue with a white head that had good retention and great lace. Aroma had a complex aroma with some nice apricot notes, there was a nice acidity to it reminding me of citric acid. Some mild malt notes. Flavor had a nice sweetness to it, apricot flavor really played well with the malts, but the yeast really complemented the apricots adding some nice almost wild yeast characteristics. Finish was nice and sweet. Mouthfeel was full.
