500ml bottle. Body had a nice cloudy golden hue with a white head that had good retention and great lace. Aroma had a complex aroma with some nice apricot notes, there was a nice acidity to it reminding me of citric acid. Some mild malt notes. Flavor had a nice sweetness to it, apricot flavor really played well with the malts, but the yeast really complemented the apricots adding some nice almost wild yeast characteristics. Finish was nice and sweet. Mouthfeel was full.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale golden yellow with a white head. Aroma intense with fresh apricots. Taste is very sweet followed by a slightly tart orange citrus turn. Ends up a little to much towards the sweet note.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Instant "wow" upon first sniff and then a bigger "WOW" upon first sip. This is like drinking fresh, crisp, sweet apricots perfectly in season. Reminiscent of an English Perry with more freshness, sweetness and bite. The color is apricot in hue (obviously right?), the liquid flows nicely into the Spigelau austrian crystal beer snifter I used to serve this gem of a brew. If you are into fruit brews, lambics, ciders or just want to try something new and delicious, Sam Smith is your boy. Not overly sweet or overly fruity...great Sunday sipper.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Whole Foods Kensington, London. Colour is almost clear golden amber, thin head head. Nose is very fragrant apricot, but there’s also some mango, like a mango lasso drink. Some lactic. It’s very sweet fresh apricots. Taste is sweet sugary apricot, almost like a fruit drink, but nicely balanced is a light to medium beer backbone and some light tartness to temper the sweetness. Crisp lagerish backbone.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
From 22oz bottle to flute. Pour is a very deep dull orange. Nose is of obvious apricot. Taste is very sweet, light body with a champagne-like carbonation to finish. Refreshing beer, very impressive what this brewery can do with fruit beers.
