3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of apricot and light malt. Cloudy light amber color, smooth white head that stays, small waves of lace. Taste is mild malt infused with solid natural apricot flavoring. Maybe a bit of bittering in the end. This is more about the apricot than it is beer, but it refreshes, and drinks easy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed yellowish color with a two finger head of fizzy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a large sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is huge of an apricot jam smell mixed with some other lighter peach smells.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet apricot jam taste that has a little bit of toast mixed within. The jammy sweetness fades a bit more toward the end only to be replaced by a bit of a more crisp apricot taste, giving a thick and sweet, but refreshing and authentic apricot flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the sweet flavors of the brew the high carbonation is great and makes for a more effervescent desert style brew.
Overall – This was a rather nice desert style brew. It had an authentic apricot taste and aroma and a very nice easy drinking feel. You will want to be in the mood for a sweeter brew if you take this on, but if so you will likely enjoy this one as it is quite nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy yellow color. Lively carbonation. Very clear apricot aroma, with a touch of caramel and some fruity yeast notes. Very sweet, but with enough acidity to balance it out perfectly. Little to know hop flavor. A bit of malt in the finish. Round mouthfeel from the wheat, but ulimately quite light. Has a rich round apricot flavor. If you like apricots, then this is good. Lack a bit of complexity, but it forgivable since it so tasty.

*Old rating. Nice fruity apricot nose. The beer is fruity and fresh. Sweetish apricot jam, easy to drink. A bit sweetish but round, fruity and nice! Sessionable with not too much depth.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy yellow to orange body with an off-white head that laces the glass well. Absurdly fruity, sweet and strong aroma of sweet apricot jam and traces of apricot kernels. Also some citrus, and hints of a milk/fruit juice mix that was introduced in Norwegian grocery stores some years ago (and that of course flopped magnificently). Strong flavour of massive sweet apricot jam, with a welcome dash of refreshing citrus in the back, along with pale malts. Moderate to heavy sweet taste with a light bitter finish. Also some very vague hints of some sourness or acidity? Full body, syrupy texture, moderate carbonation. A nice one, if you like apricots.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’ve now had this twice at August in Tallinn - still not convinced beer and apricot should go together. A highly carbonated lemonade this is. Nothing wrong with it per se, but I just can’t force myself to enjoy this sort of stuff on any occasion. Also, if consumed as lemonade, I’d prefer something like this to contain ~2% less alcohol...

Nice creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, apricot jam, grain, fruit stones, soda powder, sour apricot winegum. Taste is slightly sour-ish sweet fruity, apricot jam, hay, weeds, fruit stones, soda powder, grain, sour winegum. Little bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.
