Pours a beautiful clear almost cherry red. Outstanding head volume and retention, below normal lacing. Rich nose of sweet cherries and tart cherries with a hint of biscuit. Heavy medium body with an almost creamy texture. Expertly carbonated yielding effervescence from the middle on and really making the sweet cherry pop in the middle and tart cherry in the finish. Brew master perfection. The flavor profile is World Class - this is the best fruit ale Iíve ever had. It has intense cherry flavor, both sweet and tart, reasonable complexity and is perfectly balanced for a cherry forward ale. It begins with a burst of sweet cherry flavor that effervesces into a tart middle. Underneath the tartness is a light biscuit and a hint of sour cherry. The finish is a slow fade of sweet cherry that also has a prominent tartness and a hint of sour cherry that yields a subtle pucker.

500 ml bottle at home. Pours a clear darker red color with a small pinkish head that disappears. The aroma and flavor have nice cherry fruitiness, some cherry skins, light tart, pale bready malts, not much else, just ok.

Had a friend say that she preferred this over New Glarus Belgian Red, so I needed to try it. Well, it was good, but not that good. Reminded me more of a cherry tootsie roll. A little too chocolatey for my taste.

Bottle split at the Anchor Tap, 03/01/15. Reddish amber with a decent light crimson head that retains well. Nose is glaced cherries, sugars, grassy notes, fruit syrup. Taste comprises sweet cherry syrup, red berry linger, straw, sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Little to sweet, preffered its raspberry cousin in this oh so exciting of parallel tastings!

Pours clear red-tinted pale amber with two fingers of light purple head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, excellent lacing. (4/5) Nose is sweet and sour cherry, maybe faint grassy hops. (7/10) Taste is moderately strong sweet, moderate bitter, moderate sour. (7/10) Light to medium body, moderate to low carbonation, tart and bitter finish. (4/5) Not bad! Almost a Belgian kriek in character, and the cherries donít taste artificial at all. That being said, the cherry is a tad overwhelming, and it makes the beer sort of one-dimensional - but itís not a bad dimension. I could be convinced to have another. (15/20)

Aroma is clear cherry. Color clear red with tiny reddish head. Taste is like a cherry lemonade, very sweet. Fizzy carbonation. Not my type of beer, but itís definitely drinkable.
