550 ml. Pours clear, cherry red with a big meringue of pink on top. Nose is pure, earthy sweet and tart cherry. Taste seems more artificial with a hard candy and medicinal lozenge twang. Light body is sweet but finishes with a mild acidic dryness and woody bitter that keeps it from becoming cloying. Medium plus carbonation. Better than most alcopops.

A decent fruit beer. Quite sweet with a lot of cherry that at times overpowers the beer. Some darker fruits. Malty, bread crust and hops for balance.

Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is cherry juice. Taste is cherry soda, cherry juice...maybe some wood or mild beer in there somewhere. If you’re into cherry soda, you may like this. If you’re into beer, you probably won’t.

Dark ruby color; Medium body; Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, rich cherries, & floral; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, fruit (notably cherries), and some spice; Dry finish; Nicely balanced; Similar to a Jolly Rancher - good.

It pours an opaque ruby with a small pinkish head. The aroma is somewhere between maraschino cherries and natural cherries, and the taste is reminiscent of the center of a cherry cordial. There’s a low level of carbonation, and it’s a bit slick.

355ml bottle. Clear dark ruby color. Small size, thin pink layer as head. Strong sweet and sour cherry in aroma. Something damp too. Sour cherries, some sugar, weird caramel, bit woody and weird smoky tones in taste. Acidic cakey texture. More acidic than crisp mouthfeel. Too sweet, but drinkable.

Keine süße Pampe, sehr ausgewogen, sehr lecker.

I did not expect large great white foam on a cherry ale, but it is what it has. Not surprisingly, the flavor is full of ripe cherries and little else. The flavor is, of course, cherries, but in a juice-like shape so as reminiscent of a fruit juice instead. I miss a little tangy aftertaste that you probably could find in a true lambic. Here they have brewed a standard ale on barley and wheat, and made it through two fermentations, and finally add the cherries. However, it is refreshing and mouthwatering, and the taste of real cherries. In no way synthetically or perfumed. Long aftertaste.
