Bottle. Poured a hazy reddish-pink with a small light pink head that was fully diminishing and had good lacing. The aroma was of sweet cereal malts, a sweet yeast and an abundance of cherry. It tasted very sweet and quite flavorful of cherries at first and finished about the same but it did have a slight acidy ending with the flavor lingering for quite a while. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and watery yet dry in texture with the carbonation being rather flat. Overall a nice and tasty fruit ale.

bottle @ Liquor Barn / Lexington KY --- Aroma of sour cherry. Opaque cherry brown color, rose-tinted white head, streamers of lace. Taste is tart sour cherry with a little malt that has medium fizz on the swallow, then more tart cherry through a long finish. A surprisingly bold brew, light on the stomach and easy to drink. I like it!

chinchill (4112) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 29, 2016
500 ml bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Pours with a clear light ruby colored body topped by a thin, bubble head that soon reduces to a partial coat but manages to leaves some lacing. Aroma: dried dark cherries with a hint of maraschino cherries. Flavor: largely follows the aroma but is not as sweet as the aroma or description suggest, instead having a good level of balancing tartness. Overall: excellent fruit beer for fans of cherry juice. Could be mistaken for an alcohol-free beverage.

Bottle at Melbourn Bros, Stamford. Deep red with a pink-tan head. Sweet-sour aroma with the unmistakable whiff of cherry. Heady sweet taste with slightly sour finish. A proper cherry beer, simple and lovely. And on site, albeit in bottle. What more do you want?

*Old rating. Fruity and a bit artificial cherries in the nose. The beer starts fruity with nice not too sweet cherries. Fresh, malty and nice fresh cherries. A bit sweetish, round (and probably artificial, as intense and slightly sweetish) in the aftertaste. Nice.
