Penche du côté sucré plutôt que surette de la framboise. La saveur est carrément celle d’une confiture, bonne présence en bouche...aurait accompagné parfaitement un morceau de chocolat, trop tard.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
550ml bottle poured into a plastic cup at work. Pours a lightly cloudy dark red with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of fresh raspberries. Taste is light sweet and medium sour. Raspberries. Medium bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a suprisingly long finish. Overall, very good. One of the better fruit beers ive had lately.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
A must have for anyone who’s into fruit beer. Best tasting I’ve ever had. Subtle raspberry flavour, creamy suds, a good balance of bitterness. Another great beet from Sam Smith!

Bottle. Dark reddish brown pour with white foam. Aroma of raspberry puree, syrupy, a leafy touch in there as well. Flavor is all raspberry, sweet not tart, sweet malty background, a bit of molasses. Palate is rich with light-med carbonation. Pretty tasty.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Unclear deep red berry color, big foamy pink head. Tart raspberry aroma and taste, giving way to a fruity sweetness. So tart and sweet it seems cloying and artificial. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Good for desert or a nightcap, I suppose. Finishes sweet. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of tart raspberries, slightly acidic. Taste is more tart sweet raspberries. Reminds me of raspberry jelly cookies and has a slight raspberry vinaigrette taste. I enjoyed it. It was very tart and slightly sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Usually not much of a fruit beer fan, but this one is rather nice. Murky dark reddish pour, thin pink head. Aroma is very fruity, with raspberry and bready. Flavor is sweet and syrupy with loads of natural raspberry. Well drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy orangey red with a lasting pinkish head. Aroma is sweet and raspberry. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic. A pleasant surprise. Really refreshing on a warm summer day. 280512

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark reddish-pink pour with very little head. Aroma is all raspberry but is still pleasant. Taste is very sweet raspberry up front and then it turns a little tart. Not bad but too much raspberry taste for me to love it.

This was a very tasty beer, although it was rather more like a blackcherry soda than a beer. Very sweet, and therefore I would find it difficult to drink more than one of these in a single sitting. This would likely be appreciated by non-beer-fans (i.e. those who have not acquired a taste for beer) who nonetheless want to enjoy a beer.
