Bottle from Whole Foods. Ruby liquid with a pinkish head. Raspberry is the aroma. Flavor is sweet raspberry. Not even much seed bitter. Seems med. body with frothy carbonation. Not so bad. Goes fairly well with salad. Kind of fun.

Bottle from Party Source. Poured clear reddish brown with a large off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good raspberry friut aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations and went well with my grilled cheese.

Bottled, 500ml from S.H.Jones, Banbury. Tawny red with pinkish head. Sweet raspberry notes from the off, quite cordial like with a fuller malty body to carry it, the raspberry tastes a little forced, unnatural for some reason, like a child’s sweet. A little too much for me, but I get this with a lot of fruit beers.

Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2011
A burgundy red ale with a thin pinkish head. In aroma, raspberry candy drops, a bit like fruit flavoured Halls or Certs, some raspberry jam, not bad. In mouth, a sweet raspberry juice with light malted notes, a tad too much on the alcopop side, but nice in the summer. LCBO bottle.

Bottle… Mostly clear, deep, burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, off-white/pink/purple head. Great retention. The aroma is very reminiscent of New Glarus Raspberry Tart – just straight up raspberries. No big “fruit extract” component present here. Medium-bodied and milky with moderate carbonation. The flavor leans just a touch toward the sweet side of balance and is just a smidge tart. Faint medicinal element; otherwise, this brew is just fruity and tangy. Well made.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, red coloured hue with a medium-sized pink foamy head. Distinctive aroma of raspberries with a mildly malty background. Sweet and slightly sour-tart flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Raspberry flavours upfront with a tinge of malt beyond; moderately sweet and mildly sour-tart finish with notes of raspberries in the aftertaste. A tad sweet but nevertheless likeable and refreshing. 15.II.13

5oo ml bottle poured a clear dark garnet with a lasting pinkish head. Aromas of raspberry and cookie. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of raspberry and shortcake with a crisp lingering raspberry finish.

Bottled. A vibrant dark red coloured beer with a short lived off-white head. Juicy raspberries throughout with the pips in constant evidence. A good base beer with super fruits added. Very tasty and moreish and stands up to the best Belgian fruit beers.
