Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smith’s Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

A burgundy red ale with a thin pinkish head. In aroma, raspberry candy drops, a bit like fruit flavoured Halls or Certs, some raspberry jam, not bad. In mouth, a sweet raspberry juice with light malted notes, a tad too much on the alcopop side, but nice in the summer. LCBO bottle.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Hazy reddish color, average sized off-white to pinkish head. Smell and taste are both quite sweet, sweet candy, a bit artificial actually. Nah, too sweet for me. And a bit artificial imo, or at least I get that association. Not a fan.

Bottle at PIB, pours an opaque ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma of pure raspberries, not much else to say about the nose. Flavour brings out raspberry purée, with a medium sweetness that never cloys. Very pungent and natural tasting. Nothing artificial here.
