The small and historical All Saints Brewery is located in Stamford, Lincolnshire - a region famous for excellent fruit. The Samuel Smith’s Organic Fruit Beers are brewed and fermented there, then transferred to Samuel Smith’s Brewery, in Tadcaster, for conditioning, aging, and packaging. The complex multiple yeast strains used to ferment these beers lead to a beautiful marriage with pure, rich Certified Organic fruit. Tasting notes: Strawberries offer a soft and subtle flavour, making the character of this fruit beer extremely sophisticated and refined. The smooth malt and aromatic strawberry flavours merge together in an elegant fashion, with the fresh flavours of ripe strawberries shining through.

Large sample pour of hazed lightly pink yellow with white head. Nose is strawberries and candy, cream and sweet malts. Flavor follows with sweet, sugary strawberries and caramel vanilla notes. Sweet, but for a fruit beer it’s not bad. 1342015

Bottle. Lactic strawberry malt and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with giant off-white head. Sweet milky strawberry malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Good.

Not bad for a fruit beer but not as good as others like Red’s Strawberry Ale. The strawberry is strongest in your nose an d just hinted at when you drink it. More of a champagne feel than beer.

Pour is a pinkish with a large white head. Aroma is an crazy amount of strawberry. There is no way this could all be fresh strawberries coming all the way across this pond. This has to be artificial. Flavor is super sweet like eating strawberry preserves. It’s ok if you like strawberries. I have the other Sam Smith fruit beers to try and I expect them to be about as good as this.

Bottle from Keelham Farm Shop, West Yorkshire. Slightly hazed amber coloured ale with a small head. The strawberry is fairly stated in both aroma and taste with a slightly soured finish.

355 ml bottle shared by Gurthnar, thanks!
Copperish, hazy body, with a small, creamy, white head.
Sweet aroma of strawberry jam, perfume, sweet toothpaste.
Taste is even sweeter, with strawberry jam, toothpaste, some honey.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes sweet, with strawberry.

Much too sweet and one-dimensional for me. No beer character left and the strawberry also doesn’t feel natural.
