The small and historical All Saints Brewery is located in Stamford, Lincolnshire - a region famous for excellent fruit. The Samuel Smith’s Organic Fruit Beers are brewed and fermented there, then transferred to Samuel Smith’s Brewery, in Tadcaster, for conditioning, aging, and packaging. The complex multiple yeast strains used to ferment these beers lead to a beautiful marriage with pure, rich Certified Organic fruit. Tasting notes: Strawberries offer a soft and subtle flavour, making the character of this fruit beer extremely sophisticated and refined. The smooth malt and aromatic strawberry flavours merge together in an elegant fashion, with the fresh flavours of ripe strawberries shining through.

Pretty strawberry blonde color, a little hazy. Smells great...but taste is a bit odd...strong strawberry - which doesn’t meld well with the ale flavours. Not as enjoyable as a lambic...but still a little too sweet. Not my favorite Sam Smith.

From World Market. Very strawberry. On the negative side it was a bit sweet but it was rather refreshing and like the apricot ale it is more like fizzy juice with ale in it rather than ale with juice in it. Serving: Bottle

Bottle. Um, yeah. Tastes like strawberries, and more strawberries. Pretty sweet. Not terrible, but pretty one dimensional actually. My wife liked it, so thats a plus.

Cloudy pink - red beer with a small white head. Slightly soft palate with mild fine carbonation. Vibrant strawberry, with a pleasing combo of sweetness and fruit acid, The strawberry really accentuates the cream in the malt. Just a great strawberries and cream beer!

Appearance: pours an almost opaque reddish to bronze color, thick head initially but fades to a smaller head, head is off white with a pink hue to it Aroma: can smell this from a mile away, smells like strawberry ice cream, creamy, sweet, tart, Taste: very sweet strawberry, I may even taste pulp, tart, creamy Palate: feels heavy in the mouth, low carbonation, leaves a very sweet and tangy aftertaste Overall: tastes like a strawberry drink not so much a beer, too sweet for a session drink, strawberry rules all the senses ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cornelius Wines, Edinburgh [0813]
Dull murky amber, thin white rim
Aroma - Strong sweet strawberry, strawberry candy, slight artifical note, no beer underneath
Taste - Sweet strawberry, bit tart, sweet sugar syrup. flavour more natural than aroma, not getting the beer underneath
Palate - Medium carb and body. Extremely sweet, more so than the other Sam Smith’s fruit beers, far too sweet. Finish as main flavour, sweet sugary strawberry
Overall - Far too sugary sweet - I almost felt my teeth dissolving away when drinking this beer.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear light amber color with red highlights and a one finger light pink head and light lacing. The aroma was dominant with fresh whole strawberries that were lightly tart from the start before finishing up with a touch of sugary sweetness and wheat. Taste starts with strawberry fruit juice and transitions into a lite malt flavor, with some mild hop bitterness. Toward the finish there is a mild tartness and then a long, lingering strawberry flavor. Body is medium with moderate carbonation and a somewhat light syrupy terxture.

Bottle at PIB, pours an opaque red with a small pink head. Nose is pure strawberries, very fresh and vibrant. Taste is the same, with a very pure and impactful depth. Fairly sweet, but not cloying. Very nice girly fruity drink.
