COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
The small and historical All Saints Brewery is located in Stamford, Lincolnshire - a region famous for excellent fruit. The Samuel Smith’s Organic Fruit Beers are brewed and fermented there, then transferred to Samuel Smith’s Brewery, in Tadcaster, for conditioning, aging, and packaging. The complex multiple yeast strains used to ferment these beers lead to a beautiful marriage with pure, rich Certified Organic fruit. Tasting notes: Strawberries offer a soft and subtle flavour, making the character of this fruit beer extremely sophisticated and refined. The smooth malt and aromatic strawberry flavours merge together in an elegant fashion, with the fresh flavours of ripe strawberries shining through.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed red tinted color with two fingers of just off white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is massive of a strawberry jam smell with a little bit of a bread smell as well. Taste – The taste begins with a super sweet strawberry jam flavor, which really dominates the taste throughout. A little bit of grain comes to the tongue toward the middle, but this is very light, with the majority of flavor being strawberry. In the end a little bit of sourness of a mostly lemon variety comes to the tongue, leaving a lightly sour strawberry jam flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the average to slightly higher side. For the very sweet strawberry the thinness and carbonation are perfect really making for an easy sipping brew overall. Overall – A desert beer certainly. Sweet but rather authentic in strawberry. A good go to if looking for something sweet and fruity.

Bottle in the Anchor, Guisborough. Pours hazy rose with a thin cream head. The taste is strawberry purée and sherbet. A bit of an odd aftertaste. Slightly synthetic tasting despite being organic and very sweet. OK.

Recht künstlich in Geschmack und Geruch. Annehmbar, aber eher ein schwächerer Vertreter der fruchtigen art.

Rated from notes taken 27 Aug 2011 -- This was a much better beer than I recalled. Subtle fruit and refreshing taste.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: heavy strawberry aroma--that seems almost artificial. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white initial head. Cloudy, medium amber body. Taste: moderately sour, strawberry initial flavor and heavily sweet, strawberry bubblegum finish with long duration. Palate: medium-to-full body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation. Overall: despite the fact that this is organic, it tasted like liquid bubblegum.

Pours from English bomber a hazy, golden hue. Aroma straight up front of berries, both strawberry and raspberry. hops and field grass seem to sneak through as well. Flavour is of course, full on strawberry, with a hint of cherry goodness. Ends well with a slight tartness, that doesn’t take it away from its overall meaning. finishes a bit dry, yet somewhat sticky. Impressive beer, even though not my style.

from Bier-Bienne - fully cloudy orange-brown beer with a little foam left; huge aroma of strawberry ice cream; marmalade and candy sugar; very sweet, light sticky, chewy aftertaste of strawberries bubblegum - cloying and ugly but my youngest son loves it

BiiruBierBeer (221) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Smells like strawberries and maybe whipped cream. Texture is kind of watery, light foam, and very little fizz, kind of like drinking soda after it is almost (but clearly not) flat. Tastes like tart strawberry jam with natural sweetness. Aftertaste is similar with just a TINY hint of bitterness and is medium to long length.

Bottle at the Princess Louise, Holborn. Rosè pink, with a bit of carbonation. Fresh strawberry aroma with a slight earthy malty tinge. The expected sweet fruity taste is balanced by a muted bitter. Nice beer overall but the palette is too weak and too carbonated. Overall: an uncomplicated but perfectly drinkable fruit beer. A surprisingly satisfying treat.

Pours to approximately a finger length head; sporadic lacing. Mild aroma of slight strawberry. Taste is like a light strawberry jam. Not as tart as I was expecting. Light, easy drinking fruit beer. Great for summer months and post-exercise refreshers.
