12oz. Bottle to shaker, this feels like an old friend I haven’t seen in a while came back into town. Pours pitch black with a finger and half of light brown head. Aromas of roast coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and sweet malt, really classic stout nose. Perfect levels of carbonation create a medium mouthfeel that finishes quite smoothly. Overall sweet on the palate with enough roast to balance it out. Finishes malty and lingers on for just the right amount of time. Great beer, I don’t know its imperial by my jacked-up American standards but its damn good and that’s all that matters. Cheers to the Yorkshire squares!

Best imperial stout ever, rich, deep chocolate color, roasted barley and coffee, aroma, fully body and fruity bitter finish.

Visual: Foil sealed cap. Pours coffee black with very minimal head, a thin layer of fine retention, lots of micro streams near the surface. Nose: light burnt bread, sweet baked molasses. (lvl-4)-pungency Attack: watery-slick, immediate burnt light-sour liquid malt Mid-palate: (lvl-4)-sweetness, (MAIN) cacao, roasted barley, caramel, coffee sourness, soy sauce, hints of vanilla Finish: lingering roasted malted barley, partially thin finish. Summary: A bit dry on its own but goes nicely with a meal. Not what I’d expect from an Imperial Stout, it’s rather light but where it lacks in body it makes up for it in composure and balance. This one makes you notice subtlety.

Po przelaniu do szkła tworzy się nieduża, sycząca pianka, szybko opadająca do cienkiej warstewki. Barwa prawie czarna, nieprzejrzysta z brązowymi refleksami. Aromat głównie kakaowy, śliwka w czekoladzie, likier kawowy i nieco palonych nut. Polecam!

Bottle. Dark. Aroma of sweet chocolate, taste more like coffee. Well balanced, but not all too complex. Still, a good one.

Botella. Color negro opaco.

Bottle. Black body brown head. Aroma is dried fruits with vanilla and toffee. Taste is also dark caramel with vanilla with some dried fruits. Aftertaste is very well balanced between roasted malts sweetness and some roasted malts bitterness. Very nice and drinkable.
