Bottle (355ml). Aged roughly 9 months piror to tasting. Poured inky black with a medium sized dense, frothy (almost creamy) tanned head which lasted very well. A complex and rich aroma with strong notes of burnt sugar and sticky toffee, toasted malts, milk chocolate, caramelized dates, fruitcake dunked in brandy, smoke and honey roasted nuts. Flavor was a fantastic lactic/sour bitterness with notes of new leather, roasted malts, toast, bitter chocolate, black coffee, smoke, toasted nuts and a dry earthy finish. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation, an oily texture, very dry mouthfeel and a superb finish.

Pours very dark almost black with a thin tan colored head. Very smooth taste with a creamy texture and a hint of coffee and fruit. A little thinner than other Imperial Stouts and not as bold flavoring. It was not harsh or bitter but rather enjoyable to drink but not quite as good as some others. A good beer at the price of $4.99 for a 550ml bottle. I’d like to try their oatmeal stout to compare.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2014 A competent Imperial Stout. While it doesn’t threaten the "big boys" of the I.S. world, it does hold its own with strong chocolate and roasted malt tones. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa ciemnobrązowa, prawie nieprzejrzysta. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, krótka. Aromat winogronowy, podobny do cognacu (ale bez nut alkoholowych), z lekkimi elementami gorzkiej czekolady. Smak pełny, gorzka czekolada, praliny, karmel, przyjemna słodowość. Delikatnie zbyt niska goryczka.

Bottle. Black with a thick mocha head and a lot of lacing. Roasted barley aroma with sweet cocoa. The taste follows adding some black licorice. Smooth feel, light for the style. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 550mL bottle. Near black with tan head. Aroma of licorice, dark dried fruit, and mild chocolate. Taste of very mild licorice, chocolate, subtle roast malt finish. Good, but there’s better imperial stouts.

0,355 l bottle. Pitch black with a big, foamy, stable, tan to light-brown head. Wonderful aroma of roasted malts, nuts, dark chocolate, plums and raisins. Taste starts with coffee and dark chocolate and ends with plums and raisins and hints of candy sugar. Light bitter and vinous finish. Slightly alcoholic. Full-bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Really pleasant beer. Couldn’t ask for much more.

A great English stout. I've got some on my shelf waiting for my next bottle to fill a tall and frosty glass. :-) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pitch black with average, beige, dense head. Aroma is complex - roasted malts, plums, deep, some booze. Taste is complex - there are for sure some dark fruits along with chocolate and roasty malt character. Full bodied and oily texture. Too lively for stout. Finish is chocolate/coffee and litte sour.
