Pleasant floral hop aroma with malt noticed on the back end. Appearance is copper and clear with a long lasting white head. Flavor is hop forward but with sufficient malt backbone. Flowery hops with a toasty malt character. Esters are noticeable. Mouthfeel is medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a great English ipa. Nice and balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good bitter with a pleasant balance between slightly bready malts and gently bitter hops. Rather filling but still fairly easy drinking.

550ml bottle from Clutch’s tour leftovers. Thanks to STS. Pours amber with creamy thin head. Weedy honey aroma. Taste is honey, herbal hops, butterscotch & English hops with a firm bitter finish. Alright i guess.

Clear golden color, medium off-white head. Malty and watery aroma. Watery texture. Modest bitterness, very mild. Drinkable and boring.

Una IPA estilo inglés. Más malta que lúpulo, ligero sabor tostado. Bien hecha, con bonito color y espuma correcta

Poured into a pint glass from bottle. An off-white head reminiscent of a sink full of dish soap caps off this ale. Finishes with decent lacing but will quickly disappear as beer warms. A beautiful rich sunset yellow and earthy amber color accents the body of one of Smiths finest. A cloying sticky sweet scent follows a the scent of a straw field. The trademark smell of malts and hops acing in tandem. Taste ends with a (surprising) kick of alcohol, starts with a well carbinated hop blast which is quickly subdued by warm velvety roasted malt. A second round of hops gives us a nicely complex ale which really seperates this from the pack. Something I could drink a 2-3 times a month. Well done.
