Not a bad brown ale. Pours reddish brown with a light brown head. Very creamy mouth feel. Nice balance of caramel, nuts and malts.

Smell is unimpressive, metallic, some maple and nuts. Roasted malts hit up front, fades into sweet nuttiness. Palate has velvet texture, slighly dry finish. A very decent brown. Good with Gouda.

Very good Ale. Sweet, nutty, malty and delicious. Not bitter, great aftertaste as well as undertones of caramel. Definately one to try if you havent yet.

The name is appropriate. This beer is all about the nutty aroma and flavor. A bit sweet, has a good balance of nuts and caramel. Good beer.

35.5cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a generally clear dark reddish brown with a massive two finger foamy tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of ripe fruit, sugar, spice and nuts. Flavor is slightly bitter with a syrupy mouthfeel. Notes of sugar, spice, and toasted malt are present as well. Slightly sweet and slightly bitter finish.

Crushed with Jakebra. Interesting brew. Sweet nose, brown sugar or something. Definitely some nuts in the flavor, and as it warms, more nuts and sugary stuff in a surprisingly dry finish. Pretty damn good and enjoyable.

Pours a light brown color with a nice off-white, almost tan head. Sugary, nutty aroma with hints of bitterness. It leaves a bit of malt on the palate after the finish. Very respectable beer.
