Jul 22, 2008 bottle thanks to believe it or not Target. poured a beautiful clear dark amber with a khaki colored head. the head lasted from beginning to end and left some lacing as well. nose hit me with caramel, hazelnut. flavor was nice with toffee, caramel, and a good hop finish. med-high carbonation. this sat well on the tongue. pretty nice brown ale

Jul 19, 2008 poured a dark amber color with a small off white head. Has a hazelnut/toffee flavor with a nice hop kicker in the finish. I love this brewer they have great stuff

Jul 18, 2008 A great ale. An aroma of toffee and hops. Appearance is a clear dark brown amber colour with a medium sized off white head. Taste is a bit nutty, but mostly toffee and hops. FUll bodied flavour and palate. This beer is like a meal.

Jul 17, 2008 Nice clear amber-brown pour with a good size tan head that fizzes away. Aroma of caramel malt and roasted nuts. Sweet nutty toffee flavor with just a kick of hops on the finish. Very refreshing on the palate. A pretty nice brown ale.

Jul 14, 2008 550ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with 2 finger tan head and spotty lacing. Nose is sweet hazelnut and caramel malt. Taste is roasted nuts, malt and a mildly bitter hop finish. Very light mouth feel. A little boring but very drinkable.
