Pours a medium brown with a medium sized head with fairly long persistence and nice lacing. Nose is an earthy malt. Taste is malty and nutty, but understated. Finish is also understated, mostly of hops. A clean drinkable brew, but not a standout.

35.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown with a creamy tan head. Light earthy malt aroma. Flavour is caramel malt, light roasted, and with a nice bitterness. Light roasted and bitter finish. Mildly nutty.

550 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours a reddish copper with lotsa carbonation. the tan head is fairly small but stays with you and leaves nice lacings. rich malty aromas. very much a crystal malt aroma, which for a brown ale is a welcomed touch. rich chewy malt flavour. wow this is a nice brown ale. i could session this one for sure.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown with a light brown head. Some lacing. Sweetish malty aroma – not too overdone. Slight notes of hops and wood. Bitter hoppy flavour with malt in the background. As it warms, it becomes sweeter and more malty, and notes of bread appear. Finish is sweet with a lingering bitterness. Dry. Notes of apple and faint cereal notes. A slight sourness. 30-04-08.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Pours well... nut brown and clear with rich firm head. Aroma of toast, hay and molasses. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. Some drying grassy hops with notes of paper and syrup. Gerntly roasty with a touch of pears. Low to medium bitterness in a drier salty finish.

Pours just like it looks in the bottle with a decent frothy head. Aroma doesn’t really stand out and flavor is as expected but doesn’t blow you away. Nothing stand out about the palate. Good brew but I wouldn’t reach for it somewhere with a broad selection.

550ml bottle, 5.0% a/v Pours cola colour with a dense tan head. Nuts, chocolate, and roasted malt on the nose. Tastes unusually hoppy for a nut brown, mild nuts in there, but a hoppy dark malt flavour is predominant. Very nice though!
