3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From 550ml bottle. Pours a dark, blood dried brown with one finger of beige head atop. Clean smelling, with limited nuttiness on the nose. Some brown sugar there as well. Flavor is pleasant malts (nothing dominate) with metallic roundness and hazelnut burn through. Only the metallic taste detracts.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bottle. Very clear pour with a slight head. Nutty, caramel aroma. Dry fruity taste that leaves the palate looking for more. I'll take another!

Color rubí limpio con espuma color crema. Aromas de azúcar moreno y toffee. En boca es ligera, los sabores van desde un dulce inicial algo tostado a un final amargo seco. Bien.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours medium leathery brown and clear. Nose is immediate yeasty tartness, toasty malts and some light nutty character. Flavor is toasty and medium light crackery malt character. Light body but has a slick fullness that I can’t pinpoint. Pretty solid but I could ask for some more complexity and malt sweetness.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
English ale fruitiness is dominant in the aroma, with caramel malt and subtle bread crust. Caramel malt, bread crust, nutty malt flavors. Gets sweeter in aftertaste. The fruity ale flavor is there--but much less prominent than in the aroma. Also some subtle dark fruit; maybe from the malt rather than the yeast?
