Jan 13, 2008 Clear dark brown, rich golden head displaying excellent retention. Sponge toffee and banana bread aroma. Toffee, hazelnuts, caramelized banana. Vaguely woody element. Smooth mouthfeel,, medium bodied, beautifully balanced and deliciously complex.

Apr 10, 2003 Deep amber brown. Lovely nose, nutty and roasty-sweet. Mouthfeel is watery at times, but carbonation seems to hold it... and malts come in near the finish to help out. Roasty, nutty, piney and earthy aroma. Drinkable and enjoyable.

Mar 17, 2007 Walnut body with suberbly rocky yellowish suds that go the distance. Varnishy nutbowl snout. Creamily malty with a proper, grown-up bitter roastiness in the finish. Hints of metal and Marmite yeastiness. Luxurious and impressive.
