One of the better nut browns out there by a brewery that has established itself as very good.

one of my favorite brown ales. Such a nice aroma, and flavour of hazelnut. great bitterness, and love the english style hop profile, outstanding beer.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a two finger light brown head. Aroma of caramel and nuts. Flavor is very nutty with caramel. Good beer.

Bottle. Some notes of slightly tart fruit (green apple?), mostly just sweet malt. Pretty light bodied. Nothing unpleasant, but not too much character either. Probably would make a respectable session brew with a few pints. Ok.

355 ml bottle. Dark brown with some reddish notes. Tall coarse off-white head that clings to the glass. Rasiny aroma with a strong hint of apples. Mellow texture. Feels somewhat dry, but there is lots of malts there. Raisiny flavours. Little hops to be found. Wooden characters. Finish is slightly grassy. Interesting beer.

Brown colour, medium off-white head. Aroma has caramel malts and nuts. Flavour has sweet malts, bread and nuts. Some roastiness. Smooth, creamy and dry. Nice one!
