Skidds (186), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 5, 2006 Poured a medium brown/red colour with an attractive light brown head. Nut flavours are very evident in the flavour and aroma. Thin body with a fairly hoppy finish. Very very good beer.

Pours a generally clear dark reddish brown with a massive two finger foamy tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of ripe fruit, sugar, spice and nuts. Flavor is slightly bitter with a syrupy mouthfeel. Notes of sugar, spice, and toasted malt are present as well. Slightly sweet and slightly bitter finish. Definitely some nuts in the flavor, and as it warms, more nuts and sugary stuff in a surprisingly dry finish. Pretty damn good and enjoyable.
