I love this stuff! In fact, this is the beer that got me interested in trying real beers in the first place. Smooth, creamy, roasty, sweetish, and VERY satisfying stout. Goes great with English pot-pies and meat-loaf. I’ve never seen it anywhere ’on tap’ but would really like to try it that way! I also like the Nut Brown they make a lot.

This beer is the bomb, the diggity dank. In fact if Bud hadn’t stolen the sloagan ’ king of beers’ I’d crown this jewel of a beer with that title. My only problem with this beer is you simply can’t drink 4-5 of these in one night.

To start off...I liked this very much. The Aroma is nice roasted character to it. It was very smooth with a ’weird’ (in a good way) slight bitter bite in the finish (suprised me for how smooth it was to start). Excellent Oatmeal Stout....worth the money to try it out.

The best $3 I have ever spent on a pint of Oatmeal Stout! Pleasant aftertaste and smooth going down. I think we have a keeper here.

This beer has a very hearty taste, give it a try if you can put half your paycheck away to buy a six pack.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2003 It looks like an average stout, and when held up to the sunlight it looks almost like a porter. The aroma is sweet, and the taste is pretty much the same. Very little bitterness in the aftertaste. I reccomend this beer to one and all, if you can afford it that is, sheesh!

simply the best oatmeal there is. This one has a smooth flavor throughout, with strong coffee overtones.
I would kill your mother for a bottle

In general, I’m not much of a stout drinker. This one’s better than your average stout though. It’s sweet and goes down smooth with no bad bite that I’ve experienced with other stouts. Not something I’ll frequent because of the style and the cost, but I certainly understan why people like it so much.
