12 ounce bottle- pours out a promising mahogany brown with a huge cola-colored head. Aroma was somewhat chocolate and malt. Taste was a little disappointing. Watery and weaker than expected, the creamy texture found in most stouts is missing here, thin bodied. Maybe a good choice to introduce as someone’s first stout. Needs some work.

Aug 7, 2008 Very smooth, smells like roasted malts, nuts, chocolate.... The body is silky and the taste is sweet and chocolatey. Almost too creamy for me, the bottle size is too big for me to take in, better to share with a friend the next time.

Aug 6, 2008 Oh .... yeah. Dark pour, soft but brilliant aroma, silky feel in the mouth. Creamy body. Complex series of flavors. Lovely aftertaste. Gimme more.

Aug 4, 2008 Bottle->plastic cup (all we had): Pours a large, rocky, off-white head that exhibits good lacing atop a black body. Aroma is of cereal, lemon, and horse blanket and a metallic aroma. The body is medium, the texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy, and the finish is metallic. The flavor’s duration is short, it is mildly sweet, lightly acidic and finishes like sour milk.

Aug 3, 2008 Poured a reddish black color with large head. Aroma is sweet like bakers chocolate and oats. Taste is smooth at first and leaves you with a slightly bitter tongue. Overall an excellent Stout and easy to drink.
